Basketball Recap: Hinton Comets vs. Carnegie Wildcats
Hinton won the last time they faced Carnegie and things went their way on Friday too. The Hinton Comets breezed by the Carnegie Wildcats to the tune of 62-31. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Comets.
Carnegie's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Karlee Tohkofper, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards, and Taya Cole, who posted five points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Cole a new career-high in steals (two). Harley Gastineau also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.
