El Segundo entered their tilt with West on Monday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the West Warriors. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by just one run.

Jacy Lindsay looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Charli Pages was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Marilyn McCaverty, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.

El Segundo's record now sits at 9-3. As for West, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-4 record.

El Segundo didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 5-2 win against Los Altos on the 17th. As for West, they have also already played their next contest, a 7-0 victory against Simi Valley on the 17th.
