Preview: Central vs. Sunlake
Central will be playing at home against Sunlake at at 7:00 PM on Friday. Central come in off of four low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
Things haven't been easy for Central, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to nine. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-36 to Hernando. Central were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-23.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Sunlake lost to Mitchell, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-35. Sunlake were down by 0-35 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the win. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
