Naples has gone a perfect 10-0 against Lely recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles will be playing at home against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Naples will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
Naples had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Bonita Springs on Wednesday. The Golden Eagles blew past the Bullsharks 18-3. With that victory, the Golden Eagles brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.
Elle Gant was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Gant was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mackenzie Leiti, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last three times she's played. Juliana Argueta was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.
Naples always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .690. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Lely came up short against Seacrest Country Day on Wednesday and fell 15-10. The Trojans have struggled against the Stingrays recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.
Brooke Bledsoe made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-5 with four runs, two triples, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Mary Dalag, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Lely's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Naples, their win bumped their record up to 6-15.
Naples came out on top in a nail-biter against Lely in their previous meeting on Tuesday, sneaking past 11-10. Will the Golden Eagles repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
