East Henderson and Franklin are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Eagles will host the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

East Henderson came out on top against Christ School on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fourth inning. The Eagles took their match against the Greenies 9-6.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Franklin ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-9 victory over Hayesville. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

William Rauers was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one hit in five consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. He has become a key player for Franklin: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three RBI, but 6-9 otherwise.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brock Bradley, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Damion Bowles, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Franklin kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 7-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

East Henderson has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-14 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Franklin, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
