Basketball Recap: Evangel Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Evangel Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Airline Vikings and fell 67-5. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 336th, while the Vikings are ranked 34th).

Evangel Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Airline, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Evangel Christian Academy has already played their next match (against Huntington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
