Morgan had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 26-point drubbing they dealt Hale Ray on Saturday. Everything went the Morgan Huskies' way against the Hale Ray Noises as the Morgan Huskies made off with a 65-39 win. The Huskies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Morgan to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sadie Passante, who went 6-for-15 to rack up 23 points along with seven steals and six assists. Passante has become a key player for Morgan: the team is 17-2 when she posts at least three steals, but 1-2 otherwise. Emma Teuner was another key player, going 7-for-11 on her way to 18 points and eight boards.

Morgan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 23 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Morgan is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. Hale Ray's loss dropped their record down to 17-5.

Morgan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hale Ray, they will face off against Haddam-Killingworth at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
