Football Recap: Valley Takes a Loss

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Tallassee Tigers, falling 40-14. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rams of the 32-13 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Kayden Dooley threw for 75 yards on six of ten attempts. Rihanna Swain was her top target, picking up 40 receiving yards.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Valley is set to square off against their familiar foe Booker T. Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Tallassee will challenge rival Elmore County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
