Soccer Game Preview: Everett vs. Conemaugh Township

Everett is 0-4 against Conemaugh Township since October of 2018 but things could change on Wednesday. The Warriors will host the Indians at 6:00 p.m. Everett will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Everett barely beat Berlin Brothersvalley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors' defense stepped up to hand the Mountaineers a 3-0 shutout on Thursday. Considering Everett have won eight matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Berlin Brothersvalley with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jocelyn Schoffstall, Lyla Levy, and Jade College.

Conemaugh Township had taken Windber down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end last Tuesday. The Indians fell just short of the Ramblers by a score of 3-2. While losing is never fun, Conemaugh Township can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 250th, while Windber are ranked 112th).

Everett's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Conemaugh Township, they now have a losing record of 8-9-1.

Everett suffered a grim 9-1 defeat to Conemaugh Township when the teams last played back in August of 2022. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Warriors were down 5-1.
