Basketball Recap: KIPP Austin Brave Takes a Loss

KIPP Austin Brave was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the IDEA Kyle Knights, falling 55-29. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 74-10 back in January.

KIPP Austin Brave's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for IDEA Kyle, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-4.

KIPP Austin Brave will square off against Harmony School Of Excellence-Austin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. KIPP Austin Brave is facing Harmony School Of Excellence-Austin at the right time seeing as Harmony School Of Excellence-Austin is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for IDEA Kyle, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wayside: Sci-Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. IDEA Kyle knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Wayside: Sci-Tech likes a good challenge.
