Football Game Preview: Valley Center Jaguars vs. Valley View Eagles + How To Watch

The Valley Center Jaguars will face off against the Valley View Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

Valley Center is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They came out on top against Eastlake by a score of 21-14. That's two games straight that the Jaguars have won by exactly seven points.

Valley Center's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Joeisha Ryan Tirado, who rushed for 156 yards and one TD. Ryan Tirado has become a key player for the Jaguars: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 3-5 otherwise. Braylon Mitchell was another key passer, throwing for 208 yards and one touchdown.

Valley Center didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Cooper Chaney, Jesse Morales, and Gauge Wright picked up one apiece.

Meanwhile, Valley View had just enough and edged out Baldwin Park 20-18 on Saturday.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Valley View's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Daryeon Scott, Mychael Johnson, and Bronson Pulu, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Valley View's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Valley Center, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
