Football Recap: Tri-City Christian Comes Up Short

Tri-City Christian extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Friday, dropping them down to 0-5. They had to suffer through a 44-6 loss at the hands of the Rock Academy Warriors. The Eagles lost against the Warriors in their previous head to head back in November of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 22-21 score last time.

As for Rock Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 49.3 points over those games.

Rock Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alec Endicott, who threw for 202 yards and three TDs on only 19 passes, and also punched in one rushing score. Endicott has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Rock Academy's leading receiver Quentin Uhland was Endicott's top target yet again, picking up 131 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Coming up, Tri-City Christian will face off against Maranatha Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tri-City Christian will need to watch out since Maranatha Christian has now posted at least 31 points in their last three games. As for Rock Academy, they will challenge Victory Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will be up against the Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.6 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
