Baseball Recap: Bensalem Fighting Owls vs. Lower Moreland Lions

The Bensalem Fighting Owls made easy work of the Lower Moreland Lions on Saturday and carried off a 10-3 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Fighting Owls.

Trevor Morris looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk).

On the hitting side, Bensalem let Mikey Kramer and Peter Pasquarella run wild. Kramer scored two runs while going 2-for-3, while Pasquarella scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Thomas Bailey also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.

Bensalem always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lower Moreland only posted an OBP of .355.

Bensalem now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Lower Moreland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
