Gateway got their first taste of in-conference action on Thursday and they started things off strong. They beat the Jewish Community Wolves by a goal, winning 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Gateway were the better team in the second half.

The win got Gateway back to even at 6-6-4. As for Jewish Community, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Gateway will face off against rival San Francisco Waldorf at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Jewish Community is set to take on their familiar foe International at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
