Newark Memorial entered their tilt with Tennyson on Wednesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lancers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2021.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Newark Memorial took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-8, 25-11.

Malia Kuehn paced Newark Memorial's offense, picking up ten kills. Kuehn got some help from Adiana Kundrat and her 12 assists. Kuehn was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Newark Memorial's win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Looking ahead, Newark Memorial will be playing in front of their home fans against American at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Cougars' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Tennyson, they will square off against Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
