Soccer Recap: Trenton Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Trenton was not quite Athens's equal in the second half on Saturday. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Hawks. Trenton's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Chloe Wishart and Katie Haveman scored both of Trenton's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Trenton's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Athens, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Trenton and Athens will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Trojans are set to face off against their familiar foe Allen Park at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Athens will challenge rival Bloomfield Hills at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
