Pasadena's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Hoover, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11.

Hoover's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Pasadena has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .491. It's a different story for Hoover, though, as they've only averaged .333. Will they be able to contain Pasadena's hitters?

Pasadena skirted past Hoover 16-15 when the teams last played back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
