Basketball Recap: Nafi Balde's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Holy Cross over Ursuline

On Wednesday, the Holy Cross Knights were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 48-44 to the Ursuline Koalas.

Holy Cross lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Nafi Balde, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 boards. Madison Glasco was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Even though they lost, Holy Cross smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 41 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
