Legacy and Legend squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Legacy had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Legend Titans by a score of 11-10. Legacy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Legend apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played last Saturday.
KC Reiser made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in four of his five plate appearances with a home run and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Braidon Brown, who went 1-for-4 with a triple, a run, and an RBI.
On Legend's side, Silas Meuli was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Jacob Fladebo, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
This is the second loss in a row for Legacy and nudges their season record down to 12-12. As for Legend, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.
