Baseball Game Preview: Camas Papermakers vs. Silas Rams

The Camas Papermakers will square off against the Silas Rams at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Camas' offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Clackamas on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Papermakers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Silas also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Capital by a score of 8-4.

Silas saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jesse Bell, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple marked the first that Bell hit this season. Landon Smith was another, scoring a run and stealing a base.

Silas' loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Camas, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.
