Soccer Game Preview: Orange Park vs. Ridgeview

The Orange Park Raiders will challenge the Ridgeview Panthers at 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Orange Park has four straight wins, Ridgeview has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Orange Park is returning to their home pitch after beating Columbia on theirs, despite the fact Columbia has dominated at home this season. Orange Park put the hurt on Columbia with a sharp 6-1 victory on Thursday. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Ridgeview lost 6-1 to Middleburg on Thursday.

Orange Park is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2-1 record this season. As for Ridgeview, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11-1.

Orange Park beat Ridgeview by a goal in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, winning 1-0. Does Orange Park have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ridgeview turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
