Lansdale Catholic moved up to 231 from 270 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Philadelphia Catholic AAA. The Crusaders were able to make the jump by falling to Archbishop Wood 28-14.
Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic took down Conwell-Egan Catholic 42-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Archbishop Wood's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Vikings feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tom Garlick has thrown for 452 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Anthony Roakes has seven catches for 128 yards. Andrew Guckin leads the league in rushing with 429 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Cardinal O'Hara takes on the Friars. As it stands, the Lions are in third, while Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic is in fourth.
Lansdale Catholic made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,477 from 6,346. The advance stemmed from a 28-14 victory over Tom Kirk's team last week.
