Baseball Recap: Tri-City Tornadoes vs. Pawnee Indians
Tri-City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They came up short against the Pawnee Indians, falling 12-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-1 on Tuesday.
Tri-City's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Pawnee, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-6.
Coming up, Tri-City will head out on the road to challenge Bunker Hill at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tornadoes are facing the Minutemen at the right time seeing as the Minutemen are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Pawnee, they will square off against Marshall County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Marshals' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Indians' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
