Flag Football Recap: Rancho Cucamonga Falls Short of El Modena in the Playoffs

Rancho Cucamonga and El Modena squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Rancho Cucamonga had to settle for second. They received a blow as they fell 25-6 to the Vanguards. Having soared to a lofty 33 points in the game before, the Cougars couldn't push the score so high this time.

Rancho Cucamonga's loss dropped their record down to 17-12. As for El Modena, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-10-1.

Rancho Cucamonga does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for El Modena, they will take on Mission Viejo at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Diablos' defense has only allowed 12.5 points per game this season, so the Vanguards' offense will have their work cut out for them.
