Softball Recap: Westside Rams vs. Greenwood Eagles
Westside lost against Greenwood back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Westside Rams wound up on the wrong side of a rough 12-2 walloping at the hands of the Greenwood Eagles. Westside has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Westside saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Samantha Haney, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Westside's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Greenwood, the victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westside will challenge West-Oak at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Greenwood, they will head out on the road to square off against Ninety Six at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
