Softball Recap: Sheldon Takes a Loss

Sheldon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 8-3 to the North Medford Black Tornado. The Irish were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Black Tornado earlier this season, when they won 11-4.

Sheldon's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for North Medford, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sheldon will challenge rival Roseburg at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, North Medford is set to square off against their familiar foe South Eugene at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
