Softball Recap: Roosevelt Teddies vs. Washburn Millers

After flying high against Como Park on Tuesday, Roosevelt came back down to earth. The Teddies came up short against the Washburn Millers on Wednesday, falling 13-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Millers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 two weeks ago.

Roosevelt saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lillian Bodkin, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Washburn, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Coming up, Roosevelt will head out to face off against Breck at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Washburn, they will square off against Robbinsdale Armstrong at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
