Football Recap: Louis E. Dieruff Takes a Loss

Louis E. Dieruff extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-6. They took a blow against the Parkland Trojans, falling 49-0. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 407th, while the Trojans are ranked 18th).

As for Parkland, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.4 points on average this season.

It was another big night for Tj Lawrence, who rushed for 117 yards and four scores on only 11 carries. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.
