Basketball Recap: Wauseon Takes a Loss

Wauseon suffered their closest loss since January 11th on Friday. They fell just short of the Bryan Golden Bears by a score of 52-50. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Golden Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Wauseon's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Bryan, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 7-14.

When Wauseon and Bryan next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Wauseon will take on Pettisville and their three-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Wauseon will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Similarly, Bryan will try to stop Paulding's ten-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
