Volleyball Recap: Kenwood Comes Up Short

Kenwood lost against West Aurora back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Broncos fell 2-0 to the Blackhawks.

Zion Palmer paced Kenwood's offense, picking up four kills. Palmer got some help from Gabriela Ellis and her eight assists. Ellis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Kenwood now has a losing record of 5-6. As for West Aurora, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Kenwood has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Chicago Washington on the 18th. As for West Aurora, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Addison Trail on the 13th.
