Basketball Recap: Josh Tolman Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Orem

Corner Canyon won the last time they faced Orem and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Chargers managed a 62-58 win over the Tigers.

Corner Canyon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Josh Tolman, who shot 67% from the field en route to 23 points and four blocks. Those 23 points gave Tolman a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dillon Roberts, who posted 15 points in addition to eight boards and five steals.

The victory got Corner Canyon back to even at 1-1. As for Orem, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Corner Canyon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-60 defeat against Layton Christian Academy on the 2nd. As for Orem, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 76-58 win against Hurricane on the 2nd.
