It was a good run, but Elkhorn unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Wauwatosa East Red Raiders.

Helena Otto was the offensive standout of the match as she had 15 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Elkhorn's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Wauwatosa East, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.

Elkhorn will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Westosha Central at 6:30 p.m. on the 16th. As for Wauwatosa East, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Union Grove on the 6th.
