Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Louisville's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

Louisville won the last time they faced Kosciusko and things went their way on Friday too. The Louisville Wildcats walked away with a 57-47 victory over the Kosciusko Whippets.

Despite the defeat, Kosciusko had strong showings from Kaleysha Miller, who posted 14 points along with six rebounds and four steals, and Journey Harris, who had 14 points and five boards. Harris continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Kaniziya Floyd was another key player, putting up seven points.

Louisville is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.4 points per game. As for Kosciusko, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-5.
