After flying high against Toronto on Tuesday, Wheeling Central Catholic came back down to earth. The Maroon Knights fell just short of the Monroe Central Seminoles by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Maroon Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Seminoles earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Wheeling Central Catholic wouldn't go down easily and took Monroe Central into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-15, 24-26, 23-25, 15-13.
