Softball Recap: Kearny Comes Up Short

Kearny was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 18-5 to the Bayonne Bees. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bees this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 on April 1st.

Kearny's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Bayonne, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Kearny didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-14 win against Union City on the 22nd. As for Bayonne, they have also already played their next contest, an 11-2 victory against North Bergen on the 22nd.
