Softball Recap: North Side Takes a Loss

It was a classic North v. South duel when North Side duked it out with South Hills on Tuesday. The North Side Steers fell 7-4 to the South Hills Scorpions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Steers of the 5-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for North Side and nudges their season record down to 4-7. Sadly, the team can't blame their woes on tough opposition, as that stretch included 10-14-1 South Hills and 8-10 Paschal. As for South Hills, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-14-1.

Coming up, North Side will challenge Trimble Tech at 7:30 p.m. on March 25th. As for South Hills, they are taking a road trip to take on Paschal at 7:30 p.m. on March 25th.
