The Whitehall Zephyrs will square off against the Northampton Konkrete Kids at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Whitehall is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.8 runs per game this season.

Whitehall had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but Nazareth Area put an end to it on Tuesday. The Zephyrs took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Eagles. The contest marked the Zephyrs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Whitehall saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Morgan Laub, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. That triple was Laub's first of the season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northampton). They blew past Allentown Central Catholic 20-3 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Konkrete Kids in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won nine in a row.

Northampton's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Whitehall, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-2 record.

Whitehall was able to grind out a solid win over Northampton when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 4-1. Will the Zephyrs repeat their success, or do the Konkrete Kids have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
