Basketball Recap: Siloam Springs Takes a Loss

Siloam Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 73-49 to the Greenwood Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 158th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 29th).

Siloam Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Greenwood, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Siloam Springs will be playing at home against Alma at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st. As for Greenwood, they will head out to take on Harrison at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greenwood knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Harrison likes a good challenge.
