Volleyball Recap: North Clayton Takes a Loss

North Clayton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Morrow Mustangs. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-11.

Hope White was the offensive standout of the match as she had eight aces and three digs. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August of 2024.

North Clayton's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Morrow, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, North Clayton will venture away from home to take on Tri-Cities at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Morrow, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Mays on the 14th.
