Football Recap: Autauga Academy Has No Trouble Against Billingsley + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Thorsby, Autauga Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 41-19 margin over the Billingsley Bears. That's more bragging rights for the Generals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the defeat, Billingsley had strong showings from Jaylen Cutler, who rushed for 99 yards and one TD, and Kaden Cotton, who rushed for 91 yards.

The win got Autauga Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Billingsley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Autauga Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Maplesville at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Billingsley, they will face off against Verbena at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th.
