Preview: Casa Roble Rams vs. Sutter Huskies
The Casa Roble Rams just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the Sutter Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. Casa Roble has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 679 points over their last nine matches.
Casa Roble has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 21 points or more this season. They blew past Yuba City 77-52.
Casa Roble got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Benny Ambriz out in front who scored 28 points. Moses Oginni was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Sutter waltzed into their match Saturday with two straight wins but they left with three. They took down Colusa 47-32.
Jagger Beck was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points.
Casa Roble is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Sutter, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
Casa Roble strolled past Sutter in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 by a score of 48-33. The rematch might be a little tougher for Casa Roble since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
