Crested Butte had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Telluride Miners on Saturday, sneaking past 2-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Archer Bernholtz and Shawn Moran scored both of Crested Butte's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 31 goals.

Crested Butte has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those seven matches. As for Telluride, their loss dropped their record down to 13-4.
