Basketball Game Preview: New London Bulldogs vs. Clintonville Truckers

The New London Bulldogs will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Clintonville Truckers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in New London's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.

New London came up short against Ashwaubenon on Monday, falling 81-56. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 247th, while the Jaguars are ranked 34th).

Meanwhile, Clintonville was beaten by Freedom 99-42 last Friday. The Truckers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clintonville's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for New London, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

New London came up short against Clintonville in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 60-49. Can New London avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
