Football Recap: McFarland Takes a Loss

McFarland was the 17-14 winner over Jefferson when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans fell 47-35 to the Eagles on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (34), the Spartans still had to take the loss.

McFarland's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Jefferson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. McFarland is set to face off against their familiar foe Edgerton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Jefferson will square off against rival Delavan-Darien at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
