            Volleyball Recap: Parkway Central Colts vs. McCluer North Stars        
        
		
        
        
            Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Parkway Central walked away with it. They put the hurt on the McCluer North Stars with a sharp  3-0 victory on Wednesday. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Colts.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Parkway Central took every set by at least 16 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-7,  25-8.

Parkway Central had a senior duo take command as  Taylor Jesse  had six  aces and three  digs and  Riley Fogarty  had five  digs and four  aces. Those six  aces set a new season-high mark for  Jesse.  Marlee Cooper also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  kill of the season.
 Parkway Central  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 26  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in seven consecutive  matches.
Parkway Central's win bumped their record up to 21-11-2. As for McCluer North, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9-1.
 Parkway Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  victory against Parkway North on the 24th. McCluer North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
