Basketball Recap: Sheffield Comes Up Short

Sheffield is still winless after their game against Bluff City on Friday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 56-53 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bluff City Gray Wolves. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Gray Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Sheffield's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Bluff City, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-9.

Sheffield will challenge Mitchell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bluff City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wooddale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
