Basketball Recap: Mason Comes Up Short

Mason was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Earlsboro Wildcats and fell 61-12. The Eagles lost against the Wildcats in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 49-24 score last time.

Mason's record now sits at 1-11. As for Earlsboro, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Mason will be playing at home against Union City at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Mason is facing Union City at the right time seeing as Union City is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Earlsboro has already played their next contest (against Southeast), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
