Volleyball Recap: Midway Raiders vs. St. Pauls Bulldogs

Midway entered their tilt with St. Pauls on Tuesday with 13 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 14. Everything went their way against the St. Pauls Bulldogs as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

While Midway might've won, it sure wasn't easy: St. Pauls scored at least 16 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-7, 25-8.

Among those leading the charge was Georgia Register, who had nine digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted in her last three contests.

Midway was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Pauls didn't served any.

Midway pushed their record up to 18-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for St. Pauls, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.
