Softball Recap: Greene County Wildcats vs. Raymond Rangers        
        
		
            
 With a playoff game on the line, Greene County rose to the challenge  on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Raymond Rangers  a   15-0 shutout. Greene County's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
  Addie Tungett made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out nine batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and not a single walk). Tungett has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than nine  strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. Tungett was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Shanna Johnson, who  went 2-for-2 with five  RBI, three  runs,  and a  double.  Erin Meadows was another key contributor,  going 1-for-2 with a  triple, a  run,  and  an  RBI.
 Greene County has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-12-1 record  this season. As for Raymond, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost eight of their last ten matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8-1 record  this season.
 Greene County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Raymond also has no future games currently scheduled.
