Volleyball Recap: Lakeside Christian Comes Up Short

Lakeside Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Riverview Academy Barracudas. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Barracudas this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Lakeside Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Riverview Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at six matches and leaves them with a 6-15 record.

Lakeside Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Calvary Christian Academy on the 4th. As for Riverview Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Winthrop College Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
